Проблеми визначення, оцінювання та підвищення ефективності діяльності підприємства

Abstract

У роботі сформовано наукове підґрунтя до визначення, оцінювання та підвищення ефективності діяльності підприємства. Виявлено різні боки та підходи до розгляду поняття, встановлено відмінності між «об’єктивним» та «суб’єктивним» оцінюванням ефективності діяльності підприємства у нестабільному зовнішньому середовищі. Диференційовано поняття ефективності та результативності діяльності суб’єкта господарювання. Запропоновано широкий набір показників для оцінювання рівня ефективності діяльності підприємства за традиційним підходом. Установлено особливості оцінювання діяльності суб’єкта господарювання на основі багатофакторного підходу та збалансованої системи фінансових і нефінансових показників. Виявлено основні проблеми, які виникають у процесі оцінювання та підвищення ефективності діяльності господарюючого суб’єкта в умовах обмеженості ресурсів.

In the current conditions the enterprises operate in order to increase their own competitive advantages and maintain their market position in the terms of environmental uncertainty, instability and limited resources. Due to the mentioned circumstances they conduct a continuous evaluation of their activities with the help of both quantitative and qualitative indicators. The results of the evaluation give businesses the opportunity to formulate benchmarks or performance targets, select a behavioural strategy and create a set of activities that will help them to achieve certain aims. Adherence to the chosen strategy and implementation of certain measures contribute to the strategic success of the enterprise. The differences between the concepts of the efficiency and the effectiveness of entity’s activity are identified. The extreme business importance of these concepts difference is underlined. The meanings of performance, efficiency, effectiveness and profitability are defined. The efficiency is determined as one of the indicators that can be used to evaluate an enterprise’s performance in the work. In order to be able to understand how this measure can be applied to evaluate the functioning of an enterprise, the concept of the efficiency is presented in the work. The scientific basis for determining, evaluating and improving the efficiency of enterprises activity is formed. Different sides and approaches to the concept consideration are identified. The divergence between “objective” and “subjective” evaluation of the performance of the enterprise in an unstable external environment are established. A wide range of indicators of overall and partial performance estimation is proposed to evaluate the level of enterprise performance by the traditional approach. The peculiarities of evaluating the activity of an entity on the basis of a multifactorial approach and on the basis of a balanced system of financial and non-financial indicators (Balanced Scorecard System) are established. The main problems encountered in the process of evaluating and improving the performance of an entity in resource constraints have been identified.
