Специфічні риси інформації як економічної категорії в умовах інформаційної економіки

Abstract

У роботі розглянуто сутність явища «інформаційна економіка», його специфічних властивостей, причин виникнення та впливу на соціально-економічні процеси. Представлено підходи науковців та законодавчі вимоги до трактування категорії «інформація». Виокремлено категорію «економічна інформація» як відомості та знання, що стосуються економічного стану різноманітних об’єктів, процесів (зокрема, виробництва, обміну, розподілу та споживання матеріальних благ). Представлено взаємопов’язаність структурних елементів інформації на різних рівнях економічної системи (зокрема, таких як інформаційні ресурси, людські інтелектуальні ресурси, інформаційні системи та бази даних, інформаційна інфраструктура). Визначено ключові властивості економічної інформації. Представлено характерні особливості економічної інформації в умовах інформаційної економіки.

According to the world community movement to the information stage of development, the need of studying the socio-economic processes from the point of of transformations that take place in economic relations, appears. At all stages of human activity there are dynamic changes of productive forces in market conditions of management. Modification of information not only into one of the most important resources and factors of production, but also the final product and product, creates the need to understand the causes and consequences of changes caused by increasing role of information in economic processes. Scientists point to indisputable role of information in socio-economic processes and rapid growth of this role in recent decades, which indicates the transition of economic system to a qualitatively higher stage of development, the «information economy». Information economy is an appropriate stage of society development which main goods are information and knowledge that ensure functioning of e-business and provision of electronic services by the state, while minimizing the information seeking costs. As electronic services and information, in particular, are becoming increasingly important in citizens’ daily lives, government and economy as a whole, this research subject is extremely relevant. The essence of information economy phenomenon, its specific properties, causes and impact on socio-economic processes is considered. Scientists approaches and legislative requirements for interpretation of category «information» are presented. There was separated the category «economic information» as information and knowledge related to the economic state of various objects, processes (in particular, production, exchange, distribution and consumption of goods). The interconnectedness of information structural elements at different levels of economic system (in particular, information resources, human intellectual resources, information systems and databases, information infrastructure) is presented. The key properties of economic information are identified. The characteristic features of economic information in conditions of information economy are presented.
