Дослідження ролі інформаційних технологій у сучасному міжнародному бізнесі

Abstract

У статті проведено дослідження ролі інформаційних технологій у міжнародному бізнесі як одного із ключових чинників забезпечення конкурентоспроможності в сучасній економіці. Проаналізовано значення інформації та інформаційних технологій для сучасних підприємств. Розглянуто механізм використання інформаційних технологій на підприємствах, охарактеризовано новітні тенденції застосування інформаційних та комп’ютерних технологій у міжнародному бізнесі. Визначено особливості використання комп’ютерних мереж та інформаційних технологій провідними компаніями світу. Висвітлено стратегічні напрями розвитку інформаційних технологій у глобальному світі. Проведено оцінку індексу розвитку інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій у країнах світу та показників рівня охоплення Інтернет-користувачів і користувачів соціальних мереж. Зроблено висновки та прогнози стосовно подальшого розвитку ІТ-галузі в Україні.

Recent decades have witnessed the rapid development of electronic engineering and digital technologies, which has contributed to the introduction of the advanced information and communication technologies in society. Modern information technologies, which include the whole set of methods of information processing in the framework of justification of managerial decisions, are aimed at meeting certain requirements that depend on their processing practices and operating conditions. The use of information technologies can generate significant growth in productivity and capital. The amount of information shared through the information structure doubles every few years, which increases the importance of information technologies both at the company level and in the world economy as a whole, which in turn intensifies the processes of globalization. In today's global world information and information technologies are becoming an important factor of production in the post-industrial economy, which is developing in accordance with the concepts of "knowledge-based economy" and "new economy". Today, the role of information as one of the key factors in ensuring competitiveness in the modern economy is increasing. Information technologies have become an integral part of international business and provide domestic and international data flow in the business decision-making process. This article examines the role of information technologies in international business. The author analyzes the importance of information and information technologies for modern enterprises. The article dwells on the mechanism of using IT technologies at enterprises, as well as characterizes the newest tendencies of application of information and computer technologies in international business. The peculiarities of the use of computer networks and information technologies in international business are determined. The index of development of information and communication technologies in the countries worldwide and indicators of the level of coverage of users of social networks is estimated. Conclusions and predictions are made regarding the further development of the IT industry in Ukraine.
