Диверсифікація як економічна категорія і як поняття

Abstract

У статті на основі аналізу великої кількості дефініцій диверсифікації визначені основні підходи до її трактування. Виявлені варіанти змістової основи та сукупності ознак, якими наділяється диверсифікація. Показана необхідність чіткого розмежування диверсифікації як економічної категорії і як окремих понять, що відображають прояви диверсифікації відповідно до її конкретного предмету. Як економічну категорію під диверсифікацією пропонується розуміти процес збільшення та урізноманітнення видів і сфер діяльності організації, ринків, на яких вона працює, а також застосування нових способів залучення та використання фінансових ресурсів. Ця категорія охоплює сукупність окремих понять диверсифікації, які відноситься до її певного предмету. Серед них – «диверсифікація підприємства», «диверсифікація діяльності підприємства», «диверсифікація економіки регіону», «диверсифікація виробництва в сільському господарстві», «фінансова диверсифікація» тощо. Ці поняття слід вважати видовими по відношенню до родового поняття «диверсифікація», яке є найбільш широким, узагальнюючим.

The attention to the development of the theoretical and practical aspects of diversification and its widespread use as an anti-crisis and development tool makes the clarifying of its essence relevant. The article analyzes a large number of definitions of diversification, identifies the main approaches to its interpretation. The variants of the semantic basis and a set of features of diversification are identified. The need for clear distinction of diversification as an economic category and as separate concepts that show its manifestations on specific subject is shown. As an economic category, diversification is proposed to mean the process of increasing and diversifying the types and areas of activity, markets in which the organization operates, as well the new ways to attract and use financial resources. In this meaning, diversification is a universal characteristic that rejects the specific attributes inherent in individual concepts and leaves only the general, most characteristic features in their concentrated form. This category covers a set of individual concepts of diversification that relate to its specific subject. Such concepts include "diversification of the enterprise", "diversification of the enterprise operation", "diversification of the region's economy", "diversification of production in agriculture", "financial diversification", and so on. These concepts should be considered specific concerning the generic concept of "diversification" which is the broadest, the most generalizing one. Each of these concepts additionally has clarifying features that are absent in the definition of the category of diversification. It is proved that one cannot characterize the category of diversification as a strategy and as a form of production. It is shown that the goal of diversification is determined by its subject
