Тенденції розвитку глобальних ланцюгів постачань в умовах COVID-19

Abstract

Виявлено ключові бар'єри для розвитку ланцюгів постачань у контексті пандемії COVID-19: недиверсифікованість ланцюгів постачань; нестабільність організації логістичної діяльності; розтягнутість ланцюгів постачань; відсутність гнучкості та єдиного інформаційного простору для всіх ділянок глобальних логістичних мереж; домінуюча роль Китаю як «світової фабрики». Проаналізовано динаміку показників розвитку глобальних ланцюгів постачань. Досліджено особливості й тенденції розвитку логістичної діяльності у світі. Визначено напрями трансформації глобальних логістичних мереж в епоху посткоронавірусу, серед яких можна відзначити такі: збільшення обсягу спеціальних вантажних авіаперевезень – авіакомпанії вже перерозподіляють флот для виняткового обслуговування вантажних авіаперевезень; зростання кількості перевірок вантажів і протоколів прикордонного контролю; активізація впровадження цифрових технологій та електронної комерції; реконфигурація глобальних ланцюгів.

The world economy has tended to globalize, which has contributed to the formation and development of global supply chains. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to an unprecedented halt or slowdown in the production of virtually all industries around the world. This, in turn, has threatened the functioning of global supply chains. Currently, global supply chains are characterized by complexity and a large number of intermediary companies, which is one of the barriers that hinder the development of chains in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. With this in mind, the aim of the article is to study the features and trends of global supply chains; identification of key barriers that hinder the development of supply chains in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic; determining the directions of transformation of global logistics networks in the postcoronavirus era. To achieve this goal used general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, generalization, structural and logical, statistical, economic and mathematical, expert surveys and evaluations. The article identifies key barriers to the development of supply chains in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic: non-diversification of supply chains; instability of the organization of logistic activity; stretched supply chains; lack of flexibility and a single information space for all sections of global logistics networks; the dominant role of China as a "world factory". The dynamics of indicators of global supply chain development is analyzed. Peculiarities and tendencies of development of logistic activity in the world are investigated. The directions of transformation of global logistics networks in the postcoronavirus era have been identified, among which the following can be noted: increase in the volume of special cargo air transportation – airlines are already redistributing the fleet for exclusive cargo air transportation services; increase in the number of cargo inspections and border control protocols; intensification of the introduction of digital technologies and e-commerce; reconfiguration of global chains. Prospects for the resumption of global supply chains depend on the country and economic activities. They will vary depending on the duration of quarantine and the consequences of the economic crisis. Large logistics companies with diversified businesses will be better adapted to this situation.
