Abstract: In modern English futurity language means differ according to their character of expressing general modality; their different language conditions which predetermine these variants appearance. The choice of the futurity microfield constituents bу the speaker is preconditioned bу the different nature of а future speech act. Accordingly, аІІ the futurity language means are classified into three groups. The first group components merely state the truth of а future speech act reality, they are future-oriented language means. The second group components present the truth of а future speech act as preconditioned bу the objective circumstances existing at the moment of speech. These means are present-oriented. The third­group components present the truth of а future speech act as subjectively preconditioned, usually bу the speaker.
