Економічна оцінка функціонування логістичної інфраструктури водного транспорту України

Abstract

Актуальність теми дослідження обумовлена розвитком світових інтеграційних процесів та зростанням необхідності задоволення потреб перевезення пасажирів та вантажів. Досліджено конкурентні переваги розвитку портової галузі та річкового транспорту України. Проаналізовано структуру перевезень вантажів морським та річковим транспортом. Охарактеризовано економічний механізм логістичної інфраструктури водного транспорту та фактори формування та розвитку логістичної інфраструктури водного транспорту. Обґрунтовано доцільність створення національного портового центру, що допомогло б зменшити витрати і підвищити ефективність функціонування водного транспорту України, забезпечити збалансований розвиток портів та терміналів на інноваційних засадах з ефективним використанням їх потужностей, а також забезпечити конкурентоздатність національної водної логістики та оптимізує систему управління портами та терміналами.

The relevance of the research topic is due to the development of world integration processes and the growing need to meet the needs of transportation of passengers and cargo. The competitive advantages of development of port industry and river transport of Ukraine are investigated. The structure of cargo transportation by sea and river transport is analyzed. The economic mechanism of water transport logistics infrastructure and the factors of formation and development of water transport logistics infrastructure are characterized. According to the results of the study, the maritime port industry of Ukraine has a strong potential, even in comparison with other countries of the world, and the development of the port industry of Ukraine stimulates the overall national economic development. The development of Ukraine's water transport is characterized by an increase in demand for river transport. Manufacturers are becoming interested in transporting large cargoes by water. With the help of river transport, it is possible to carry out the so-called "green transportation", which is extremely relevant in the context of sustainable development of the national economy. Considering the advantages and the possibility of solving the first economic and legal problems of Ukraine's water transport, it is possible to envisage the integration of Ukraine's water transport system into the European and world economic space. Establishing a national port center would help reduce costs and increase the efficiency of Ukraine's water transport, ensure a balanced development of ports and terminals on an innovative basis with efficient use of their capacity, as well as ensure the competitiveness of national water logistics and optimize the system of port and terminal management.
