Образ поляков в восприятии белорусов: социологический анализ

Abstract

У статті, спираючись на результати соціологічного дослідження 2020 року, відзначається, що серед жителів Брестського і Гродненського регіонів переважає позитивне ставлення до народу Польщі, а також до польського досвіду здійснення політичних і економічних реформ. Вказується на посилення цього відношення протягом останніх 20-ти років, що викликано високою оцінкою досягнень Польщі за посткомуністичний період, розширенням міжособистісних контактів між поляками та білорусами. Позитивне ставлення до Польщі й поляків знаходиться в прямій залежності від вікових характеристик соціальних груп: чим вище віковий бар’єр, тім гірше це відношення. Підкреслюється, що натепер близькими в культурологічному вимірі бачать поляків близько двох третин білорусів, що зумовлено переважно як спільністю історичного минулого, так і близькістю менталітету. Констатується, що відносини між народами РП і РБ руйнують передусім розбіжність економічних інтересів, різне бачення майбутнього і протилежність політичних цінностей. Вказується на широкий спектр комунікацій між поляками та білорусами, головними з яких є туризм, покупки, відвідування друзів і родичів. Відзначається, що, на думку білорусів, основними інструментами подолання бар’єрів між народами Польщі та Білорусі є ліквідація візових обмежень, розширення контактів між людьми, організаціями та підприємствами, створення спільних проектів з транскордонного співробітництва, поліпшення інвестиційного клімату, а також налагодження конструктивної співпраці між державними структурами. Третя частина опитаних переконані, що Польща в разі стихійного лиха може простягнути руку допомоги білоруському народу.

The article, based on the results of a sociological survey conducted in 2020, notes that residents of Brest and Grodno regions have mostly positive attitude towards Poles as well as to the Polish experience in political and economic reforms implementation. This attitude has been strengthening over the last 20 years and is caused by a high appreciation of Poland's achievements in the post-communist period, the expansion of interpersonal contacts between Poles and Belarusians. Positive attitude towards Poland and Poles is in direct dependence to the age of social groups: the higher the age barrier, the worse is attitude. It is emphasised that today about two thirds of Belarusians see Poles as close in the cultural dimension, which is mainly due to both common historical past and similar mentality. It is stated that relations between Poles and Belarusians destroy, first of all, lack of convergence of economic interests, different visions of the future and contradictions with regard to political values. A wide range of communications between Poles and Belarusians is pointed out, the main of which are tourism, shopping, visiting friends and relatives. It is noted that, in the opinion of Belarusians, the main tools for overcoming barriers between the people in Poland and Belarus are elimination of visa restrictions, expansion of contacts between people, organisations and enterprises, creation of joint projects on cross-border cooperation, improvement of investment climate, as well as establishment of constructive cooperation between government agencies. One third of the respondents are convinced that Poland can lend a helping hand to Belarusians people in case of a natural disaster. On this indicator Poland loses only to Russia.
