Феномен політичного лідерства у ХХІ столітті

Abstract

Статтю присвячено дослідженню феномена політичного лідерства у ХХІ столітті. Інтерес до феномену політичного лідерства має досить глибокі історичні коріння. Визначено, що інтерес суспільства до особистостей політичних лідерів виникає у нестабільні періоди їхнього національного розвитку, бо саме в цей момент починає з’являтися велика кількість осіб, які прагнуть прийти до влади, самоствердитися та реалізуватися в політиці. Процес лідерства завжди є тривалим і динамічним. Зазначено, що більша частина суспільства вважає політичного лідера авторитетним керівником певної політичної партії або організації. Маючи певні важелі впливу він в змозі відігравати провідну чи суттєву роль у політичних процесах та ситуаціях. Розглянуто велику кількість визначень поняття лідерства та виділено найголовніші та найактуальніші, а саме: по-перше, лідерство включає в себе набір певних якостей лідера, а також його здібності налагоджувати міжособистісні взаємовідносини; по-друге лідерство завжди є взаємопов’язаним з однодумцями, з підлеглими, з суспільством; і останнє це те, що лідерство це та роль, яку виконує особистість в політичному суспільстві та системі в цілому. Проаналізовано основні теорії лідерства в яких вчены в рызны часи намагалися пояснити основні причини та функції лідерства. З допомогою цих концепцій стають зрозумілішими актуальні проблеми дослідження феномену політичного лідерства. Вважаємо, що серед розмаїття концепцій, які пояснюють феномен лідерства є наступні теорії: теорії лідерських рис; теорії навколишнього середовища, або ситуативні теорії; особистісно-ситуативні теорії; теорії «очікування –взаємодія»; гуманістичні теорії; атрибутивні теорії; теорії «обміну», «трансактного аналізу» і трансформаційного лідерства; мотиваційні теорії. В статті перелічені основні функції політичного лідерства, розкривають сутність лідерської діяльності та визначають типологію лідерства.

The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of political leadership in the 21st century. Interest in the phenomenon of political leadership has quite deep historical roots. It has been determined that public interest in the personalities of political leaders arises in unstable periods of their national development, because it is at this moment that a large number of individuals who seek to come to power, assert themselves and realize themselves in politics begin to appear. The process of leadership is always long and dynamic. It is noted that most of the society considers a political leader to be the authoritative leader of a certain political party or organization. Having certain levers of influence, he is able to play a leading or significant role in political processes and situations. A large number of definitions of the concept of leadership are considered and the most important and relevant ones are highlighted, namely: first, leadership includes a set of certain qualities of a leader, as well as his abilities to establish interpersonal relationships; secondly, leadership is always interconnected with like-minded people, with subordinates, with society; and the last thing is that leadership is the role that an individual performs in political society and the system as a whole. The main theories of leadership were analyzed in which scientists at different times tried to explain the main reasons and functions of leadership. With the help of these concepts, the actual problems of researching the phenomenon of political leadership become clearer. We believe that among the variety of concepts that explain the phenomenon of leadership there are the following theories: theories of leadership traits; environmental theories, or situational theories; personal and situational theories; “expectation-interaction” theories; humanistic theories; attributive theories; theories of “exchange”, “transactional analysis” and transformational leadership; motivational theories. The article lists the main functions of political leadership, reveals the essence of leadership activity and defines the typology of leadership.
