| Abstract: | У статті представлена позиція Ганса Кельзена (1881–1973 рр.) щодо конституції як ґрунтовної норми. Вказано на
основні риси його трактування ґрунтовної норми, розглянуто еволюцію його розуміння конституції як ґрунтовної норми.

In the article the position of Hans Kelsen (1881–1973) about the constitution as the basic norm (die Grundnorm) is presented. The main characteristics of his interpretation of the basic norm are given, the evolution of his understanding of the constitution as the basic norm is pointed out.
