Українська мова в лінгвокультурному і освітньому просторі Китаю: історія і сучасний стан

Abstract

Стаття присвячена феномену присутності української мови у лінгвістичному ландшафті сучасного Китаю. У ній представлені основні результати дослідження процесу входження української мови до геокультурного та освітнього простору Китаю. Уперше в широких хронологічних межах (з домонгольських часів до сьогодення) системно висвітлено історію появи та особливості функціонування української мови на китайських теренах, основні аспекти становлення та розвитку китайської україністики та питання викладання української мови у вищій школі Китаю. Використовуючи системно-історичний, історіографічний та соціокультурний підходи, історико-логічний аналіз, автор на основі історичних фактів та моніторингу поточної ситуації виділяє 1) доінституційний, 2) перехідний (змішаний) та 3) інституційний етапи у розширенні присутності української мови в геокультурному та лінгвістичному просторі, характеризує їх особливості та відповідні їм типи акторів (етнічні українці на китайських землях; нащадки етнічних українців, що осіли в Китаї; етнічні китайці в українському мовному континіумі (навчання в УРСР); перші китайські дослідники україністики; вчені-українознавці з північноамериканської діаспори). Докладно розглянуто процес інституоналізації вивчення української мови в новому Китаї після здобуття Україною незалежності, представлено «каталог» китайських університетів, в яких вивчається українська мова, відстежено динаміку їхньої появи та особливості локалізації на території Китаю. Наведено також перелік центрів з вивчення України, охарактеризовано їх основні досягнення. Увага приділена проблемам методичного забезпечення викладання та вивчення української мови як іноземної в університетах Китаю. Результати проведеного дослідження визначають основні контури цілісної картини минулого та сьогодення україністики у Китаї, дозволяють оцінити роль та значення української мови у геополітичному, соціокультурному та освітньому аспектах як в історичному ключі, так і з точки зору перспективи довгострокових партнерських відносин між Китайською Народною Республікою та незалежною Україною.

This article is devoted to the phenomenon of the presence of the Ukrainian language in the linguistic landscape of modern China. The process of the entry of the Ukrainian language into China’s lingual-cultural and educational areas is presented as the main result of the study. For the first time, the emergence of the Ukrainian language and its functioning in China, the main aspects of the formation and development of Chinese Ukrainian studies, and the teaching of the Ukrainian language in Chinese higher education are represented systemically in a broad chronological framework (from pre-Mongolian times to the present day). By systemically using historical, historiographic, and sociocultural approaches, conducting historical and logical analysis, using historical facts, and monitoring the current situation, the author identifies 1) pre-institutional, 2) transitional (mixed) and 3) institutional stages in expanding the presence of the Ukrainian language in the geo-cultural and linguistic areas of China, and characterizes their main features and corresponding types of actors (ethnic Ukrainians in China; descendants of ethnic Ukrainians who settled in China; ethnic Chinese in the Ukrainian language continuum (trained in the Ukrainian SSR); the first Chinese researchers of Ukraine; Ukrainian scholars from the North American diaspora). The process of institutionalization of the study of the Ukrainian language in China after Ukraine gained independence is considered in detail, and a “catalog” of Chinese universities where the Ukrainian language is studied is presented. The dynamics of their appearances and the peculiarities of localization in China are traced. A list of centers for Ukrainian studies is also presented, and their main achievements are characterized. Attention is paid to the problems of methodological support for teaching and learning Ukrainian as a foreign language in Chinese universities. The results of the study reveal the main features of a holistic picture of the past and present of Ukrainian studies in China, allowing us to assess the role and significance of the Ukrainian language in the geopolitical, sociocultural, and educational contexts, both in a historical perspective and from the viewpoint of the prospect of long-term partnerships between the People’s Republic of China and independent Ukraine.
