Теоретичні аспекти еволюції дослідження політичного лідерства

Abstract

У даній статті розглянуто процес еволюції дослідження поглядів на сутність, зміст, характерні ознаки та роль політичних лідерів суспільства через призму різних історичних епох. У статті розглядається проблеми поглядів на лідерство починаючи з Античності і закінчуючи сучасністю. Проблема формування та ідентифікації політичних лідерів бере свій початок разом із виникненням феномену влади та заснуванням перших державних утворень. У статті виділено як визначали політичних лідерів у кожну історичну епоху. Простежено низку спільних та відмінних визначень політичного лідера залежно від культури, епохи, та історичного контексту. Виявлено, що в кризові часи зростає попит на харизматичних лідерів, яких вперше визначив німецький дослідник М. Вебер. Харизматичне лідерство як міждисциплінарний феномен стало особливо затребуваним предметом дослідження у XX ст., тому дослідження, що ідентифікують та пояснюють сутність явища харизматичного лідерства є особливо актуальними в нинішній політологічній науці. Стаття відділяє харизматичне лідерство від інших загальноприйнятих теорій та концепцій політичного лідерства. У ній наголошується на характерних ознаках та відмінностях різних типів лідерства. Одним з важливих аспектів даного дослідження є висвітлення поглядів дослідників, що представляють різні науки: політологію, філософію, соціологію, психологію та ін. Так як політичне лідерство є складним соціальним феноменом, що потребує аналізу з точки зору різних наук для всебічного пояснення даної проблеми. Розглянуто характерні ознаки політичних лідерів, які виділяють більшість дослідників від давнини до сучасності, що дає змогу проаналізувати потенційну успішність політичних еліт у процесі керівництва державним апаратом. Результати цього дослідження можуть бути корисними у подальших дослідженнях з даної проблематики та можуть бути використаними як методологічна база подальшого опрацювання проблем політичного лідерства, а також у навчальному процесі.

This article examines the process of evolution of the research of views on the essence, content, characteristics and role of political leaders of society through the prism of different historical eras. The article examines the problems of views on leadership starting from Antiquity and ending with modernity. The problem of formation and identification of political leaders originates with the emergence of the phenomenon of power and the establishment of the first state entities. The article highlights how political leaders were determined in each historical era. A number of common and different definitions of a political leader are traced, depending on the culture, era, and historical context. It was revealed that in times of crisis, the demand for charismatic leaders, who were first identified by the German researcher M. Weber, increases. Charismatic leadership as an interdisciplinary phenomenon became a particularly sought-after subject of research in the 20th century, therefore studies identifying and explaining the essence of the phenomenon of charismatic leadership are particularly relevant in current political science. The article separates charismatic leadership from other generally accepted theories and concepts of political leadership. It emphasizes the characteristics and differences of different types of leadership. One of the important aspects of this research is highlighting the views of researchers representing various sciences: political science, philosophy, sociology, psychology, etc. Since political leadership is a complex social phenomenon that requires analysis from the point of view of various sciences for a comprehensive explanation of this problem. The characteristic features of political leaders, which are distinguished by the majority of researchers from ancient times to the present, are considered, which makes it possible to analyze the potential success of political elites in the process of leading the state apparatus. The results of this study can be useful in further research on this issue and can be used as a methodological basis for further processing of political leadership problems, as well as in the educational process.
