Краткий осмотр (реферат): | Implementation of an Automated Learning Management System in the Context of Higher Education Reform Abstract: Electronic management systems have been actively introduced into production and enterprise administration for several decades. However, their rapid development and increased accessibility have only emerged in the past two decades due to advancements in the Internet, cloud services, and high-speed connectivity. While enterprise-level management systems facilitate process automation, they often remain complex, costly, and require long development cycles. Currently, numerous localized management solutions are available, particularly for service-oriented organizations, making them adaptable for educational institutions. At the same time, the reform of continuous professional development (CPD) for physicians has significantly increased the workload of major CPD providers, necessitating new approaches to educational process management. The aim of this study was to implement an electronic management system with automated processes in the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education and Pre-University Training at Uzhhorod National University. The research involved an analysis of available customer relationship management (CRM) systems, comparing their cost and customization flexibility. A cloud-based CRM system developed in Uzhhorod was selected, as it provided remote accessibility, automated SMS and email integration, and customizable administrative and business processes without additional software development. The first stage of implementation involved configuring access levels and administrative permissions, ensuring operational independence and transparent tracking of all activities through timestamped records. Next, an automated registration system for educational events was developed, synchronizing real-time user data with the Dean’s Office CRM. A key component was the creation of a database containing student records, allowing automatic updates on participation in educational activities and issued certificates. The CRM implementation also prompted a redesign and optimization of administrative workflows, introducing automated notifications and improving procedural efficiency. In conclusion, the integration of an automated learning management system in higher education institutions amid ongoing educational reforms, globalization, and increased mobility of educational services offers substantial advantages. These include process automation, improved transparency, reduced human error, seamless student identification, enhanced synchronization of publicly available educational content, transition to paperless technologies, and real-time statistical analytics. Consequently, this system significantly enhances administrative efficiency and decision-making within the educational institution. |
