Гіпертрофія стінок артеріальних судин - клінічні факти та молекулярні механізми

Abstract

The aim of the study was to assess both the presence and intensity of arterial vessels hypertrophy in patients with essential hypertension (ЕН) and the molecular mechanisms of its development. 136 patients with ЕН and 39 practically healthy persons was examined. Hypertrophy of the muscular arteries had been assessed with the occlusive venous plethysmography and the hypertrophy of elastic arteries with magnetic resonance imaging. Serum blood content of angiotensine ІІ, endothelin-1, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and nitrotirosine were determined with the enzymatic immune analisys. It was fixed, that the patients with ЕН characterizes bу the development of hypertrophy of muscular and elastic arteries with dilatation of elastic arteries and thickening of both the elastic and muscular arteries. Significant elevation of serum blood content of angiotensine II, endothelin-1, (VEGF) and nitrotirosine in patients with essential hypertension had been shown. The importence of this elevation in the development of vascular hypertrophy in patients with ЕН had been demonstrated.
