Abstract:	The correlation between the crystal structures and chemical bond types in the intermediate ternary compounds, which are formed in the Tl2Se-SnSe2-Bi2Se3 system have been studied. The ternary compounds Tl4SnSe4, Tl2SnSe3, TlBiSe2 and Tl9BiSe6 are characterized by the complex nature of the chemical bond types – metal-ion-covalent by the classification of Godovikov.
