Генезис концепції ідентичності в соціально-політичних науках

Abstract

У статті робиться спроба простежити та проаналізувати еволюцію загальних уявлень про «ідентичність». Наші пошуки відбуваються не тільки в галузі політології, але й інших соціогуманітарних наук. Як було продемонстровано, дана потреба викликана, по-перше, тісним зв'язком між політологією і суміжними дисциплінами, що надають Їй свій науковий інструментарій, а по-друге, міждисциплінарним характером категорії «ідентичність» і величезним потенціалом, який криється саме в такому підході до її дослідження. У результаті автор прийшов до висновку, що розуміння «ідентичності» як категорії наукового аналізу із часом зазнавало суттєвих змін. Вони відображали, з одного боку, відповідний стан розвитку знання про людину та суспільство, а з іншого - потужні соціальні трансформації, що докорінно змінювали саму природу ідентичності.

The article attempts to trace and analyze the evolution of general conceptions of “identity”. Our research is carried out not only in the field of political science, but also in other social and humanitarian sciences. As it was shown, this need is caused, firstly, by the close connection between political science and related disciplines, that provide their own scientific tools to it, and, secondly, by the interdisciplinary nature of the category of “identity” and the enormous potential that lies in such an approach to its research. As a result, we made a conclusion, that the understanding of “identity”, as a category of scientific analysis, underwent significant changes over time. They reflected, on the one hand, the corresponding situation of development of Knowledge about human and society, and, on the other, mighty social transformations, that radically changed the very nature of identity.
