| Abstract: | The study deals with specific features of capture of gas inclusion by the crystallization front at Czochralski growth of paratellurite crystals. The reasons for the formation of macrocavities in the bulk of the crystal are analyzed and related to the crystallization conditions. Based on the studies performed, a new method is proposed for obtaining crystals with cavities which can find applications as containers for synthesis and growth of different crystals. |
