Дискурсивні стратегії в перекладній рецепції творчості Еріха Марії Ремарка

Abstract

У статті простежено взаємозв’язок між поняттям дискурсу та його впливом на процес перекладу та рецепцію текстів. Також здійснено спробу проаналізувати різні підходи до трактування дискурсу в лінгвістиці та перекладознавстві, акцентуючи увагу на важливості культурних, соціальних та ідеологічних факторів, що впливають на сприйняття перекладених текстів. У статті розглянуто також, як дискурс, будучи не лише мовною структурою, а й способом комунікації, трансформується в процесі перекладу, адаптуючись до нових умов мовної та культурної реальності. Окрема увага приділена аналізу дискурсивних стратегій, які використовують перекладачі для забезпечення точності та відповідності перекладу оригіналу в контексті цільової аудиторії. Стаття пропонує узагальнені перспективи для розуміння ролі дискурсу в міжкультурному перекладі, вказуючи на його значення для досягнення ефективної комунікації. Також окреслено важливість дискурсу в процесі перекладної рецепції, підкреслюючи його вплив на сприйняття та адаптацію перекладених текстів. Важливо, щоб перекладачі усвідомлювали дискурсивні особливості обох мов та культур, намагаючись знайти баланс між точністю і культурною адекватністю. Дискурс у творчості Еріх Марії Ремарк розглядаємо крізь призму того, як автор використовує мову для вираження соціальних, політичних і гуманістичних проблем, що переважно мають важливе значення для його епохи. Творчість Ремарка, зокрема його відомі романи, такі як «На Західному фронті без змін», «Три товариші», «Чорний обеліск», відзначається глибоким осмисленням війни, людських страждань та пошуків сенсу життя в умовах катастрофічних змін у суспільстві. Основними типами дискурсу в творчості Е.М. Ремарка є: психологічний дискурс, соціальний і політичний дискурс, екзистенційний та літературний дискурс, тема людяності.

The article traces the relationship between the concept of discourse and its influence on the translation process and the reception of texts. We also tried to analyze different approaches to the interpretation of discourse in linguistics and translation studies, emphasizing the importance of cultural, social and ideological factors affecting the perception of translated texts. The article also examines how discourse, being not only a linguistic structure, but also a method of communication, is transformed in the process of translation, adapting to the new conditions of linguistic and cultural reality. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of discursive strategies used by translators to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of the translation of the original in the context of the target audience. The article offers generalized perspectives for understanding the role of discourse in intercultural translation, pointing out its importance for achieving effective communication. We also tried to outline the importance of discourse in the process of translation reception, emphasizing its influence on the perception and adaptation of translated texts. It is important that translators are aware of the discursive features of both languages and cultures, trying to find a balance between accuracy and cultural adequacy. Discourse in the work of Erich Maria Remarque is considered through the prism of how the author uses language to express social, political and humanistic problems, which are mostly important for his era. Remarque's work, in particular his famous novels such as „On the Western Front Without Changes”, „Three Comrades”, „The Black Obelisk”, is marked by a deep understanding of war, human suffering and the search for the meaning of life in conditions of catastrophic changes in society. The main features of the discourse in the work of E.M. Remarque's are: psychological discourse, social and political discourse, existential and literary discourse, the theme of humanity in the discourse.
