Заперечні займенники у площині функціональної омонімії

Abstract

У статті в теоретичному і практичному аспектах розглянуто заперечні займенники української мови у площині функціональної омонімії та синкретизму. Здійснено спробу розкрити механізм утворення похідних мовних одиниць із урахуванням трьох основних критеріїв виділення частин мови: семантичного, морфологічного, синтаксичного. З’ясовано семантичні передумови, причини та закономірності транспозитних процесів, у яких беруть участь займенникові словоформи. Продемонстровано багатьма контекстами, що абстрактний та широкий характер займенникової семантики закономірно стає підґрунтям транспозиційних процесів. Висвітлено явища адвербіалізації, субстантивації, ад’єктивації заперечних займенників, при цьому враховано синкретичну природу аналізованих транспозитів. Осмислено конкретні випадки переходу займенників у лексико-граматичні класи прислівника, іменника, прикметника. Проаналізовано ті морфолого-синтаксичні зміни, яких зазнають твірні слова в процесі транспозиції. Окреслено місце займенника в системі частин мови. Наведено приклади омопар, до складу яких входять заперечні займенники. Простежено динамічні процеси в системі частин мови, виявлено складні системні зв’язки й відношення між словами в морфології. Перехід заперечних займенників у прислівники, який можна простежити у контексті, супроводжується внутрішньою зміною загальночастиномовного значення вказівності на ознаковість. Транспозиція твірних слів в іменник та прикметник відповідно демонструє нові категоріальні значення похідних одиниць – предметність та атрибутивність. Водночас виявлено спільність семи чи сем мотивувальних слів і похідних, що дає підстави розглядати омопари функціональних омонімів як синкретичні утворення. Доведено, що опис транспозиційних явищ на прикладі заперечних займенників допоможе у вирішенні складної проблеми визначення частиномовного статусу однозвучних слів, яка виникає у практичному курсі морфології сучасної української мови.

The article examines theoretical and practical aspects of negative pronouns in the Ukrainian language from the perspective of functional homonymy and syncretism. It attempts to reveal the mechanism of formation of the derived linguistic units, considering three main criteria for distinguishing parts of speech: semantic, morphological, and syntactic. The study identifies semantic conditions, reasons, and patterns of transposition processes where pronouns are involved. Many examples demonstrate that the abstract and broad nature of the pronoun semantics naturally becomes the basis of transposition processes. The phenomena of adverbialization, substantivation, and adjectivization of negative pronouns are highlighted while considering the syncretic nature of the analyzed transposits. Specific cases of the transition of pronouns into the lexical-grammatical classes of an adverb, noun, and adjective are analyzed. The morphological and syntactic changes that words undergo in the transposition process are described. The pronoun's place in the system of parts of speech is outlined. Examples of homonym pairs that include negative pronouns are given. Dynamic processes in the system of parts of speech are traced, and complex systemic connections and relations between words in morphology are revealed. The transition of negative pronouns into adverbs, which can be traced in the context, is accompanied by an internal change in the general part-of-speech meaning of indicativeness into characteristic. Therefore, the transposition of derivational words into nouns and adjectives demonstrates new categorical meanings of the derived units – objectivity and attribution. At the same time, the study has revealed common seme or semes of the original words and derivatives, which gives grounds to consider homonym pairs of functional homonyms as syncretic formations. It has been proven that the description of transposition phenomena using the example of negative pronouns helps in solving the complex problem of determining the part-of-speech of homophones, which arises in the practical course of morphology of the modern Ukrainian language.
