Прогностичний дискурс: аспекти дослідження

Abstract

У статті здійснено комплексний аналіз прогностичного дискурсу як особливого виду комунікації, спрямованого на передбачення майбутніх подій, тенденцій та сценаріїв розвитку. Розглянуто жанрову специфіку прогностичного дискурсу, який охоплює наукові, політичні, економічні, релігійні, метеорологічні та масово-культурні прогнози. Визначено основні лінгвальні засоби прогнозування, серед яких модальні конструкції, хеджинг, метафоризація та спеціалізована термінологія. Акцентовано увагу на прагматичному вимірі дискурсу, зокрема на його функціональній спрямованості, що може бути інформативною, маніпулятивною, застережною чи мотиваційною. Особливу увагу приділено астрологічним прогнозам як специфічному жанру прогностичного дискурсу, що використовує символічну лексику, персоніфікацію планет, узагальнені твердження та метафоричні конструкції для створення універсальних передбачень. Досліджено вплив соціокультурного контексту на формування астрологічного дискурсу та його популярність у цифрову епоху. Також розглянуто питання взаємозв’язку між рівнем довіри аудиторії до прогнозів та мовними засобами, які використовуються для їхньої презентації. Аналіз показав, що прогностичний дискурс є міждисциплінарним явищем, яке поєднує раціональні та символічні форми прогнозування. Він еволюціонує відповідно до розвитку технологій та змін у суспільній комунікації, активно інтегруючись у цифровий простір через медіаплатформи, мобільні додатки та соціальні мережі. Одержані результати можуть бути використані для подальших досліджень у сфері дискурсивного аналізу, комунікативістики та соціолінгвістики. Крім того, перспективним напрямом є подальше дослідження когнітивних стратегій прогнозування та їхнього впливу на прийняття рішень. Виявлено, що роль прогностичного дискурсу у формуванні суспільних уявлень про майбутнє значно зросла під впливом глобалізаційних процесів та інформаційних технологій.

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of prognostic discourse as a special type of communication aimed at predicting future events, trends and development scenarios. The genre specificity of prognostic discourse, which includes scientific, political, economic, religious, meteorological and mass-cultural forecasts, is considered. The main linguistic means of forecasting are identified, including modal constructions, hedging, metaphorization and specialized terminology. The emphasis is on the pragmatic dimension of discourse, in particular on its functional orientation, which can be informative, manipulative, warning or motivational. Particular attention is paid to astrological forecasts as a specific genre of prognostic discourse that uses symbolic vocabulary, personification of planets, generalized statements and metaphorical constructions to create universal predictions. The influence of the socio-cultural context on the formation of astrological discourse and its popularity in the digital age is investigated. The issue of the relationship between the audience's level of trust in forecasts and the language means used for their presentation is also considered. The analysis showed that prognostic discourse is an interdisciplinary phenomenon that combines rational and symbolic forms of forecasting. It evolves in accordance with the development of technologies and changes in social communication, actively integrating into the digital space through media platforms, mobile applications and social networks. The results obtained can be used for further research in the field of discourse analysis, communication studies and sociolinguistics. In addition, a promising direction is further research into cognitive forecasting strategies and their impact on decision-making. It was found that the role of prognostic discourse in the formation of public perceptions of the future has significantly increased under the influence of globalization processes and information technologies.
