Abstract

Summary. Conjugated jaundice among newborns represent the most widely spread pa theology within the overall morbidity structure and require further improvement of their diagnosing and prompt adequate treatment, The object of our survey concerned studying and analysis the conjugated jaundice morbidity rates within the group of newborns, determination of leading ante- and intra-natal risk factors with specific consideration to medic-social reasons and possible scientifically justified ways of correction. It should be noted that the absolute majority of newborns (96.08±2.16%) were breast milk-fed - a factor that gives certain grounds for an idea of the impact hormone and bio-active components in breast milk have on hyperbilirubinemia rates in newborns
