Геополітичні аспекти становлення держави Русь

Abstract

Проблема становлення держави Русь — одна з найскладніших у вітчизняній історіографії. Давня взаємодія слов’ян зі степами Північного Причорномор’я дозволяє припускати, що загадкове плем’я «русь» походить саме звідти. Історичні руси — це степове об’єднання аланів і булгар. Навколо них з часом починають гуртуватися і східні слов’яни. Взаємини слов’ян і русів грунтувалися на взаємній вигоді. Слов’яни отримували доступ до вільних чорноземів для землеробства і надійний захист від кочовиків. Руси же отримали нову сферу політичного впливу і ринки збуту для транзитних і власних товарів. І все ж взаємна асиміляція слов’ян і русів відбувалась украй повільно. Переміщення русів на Дніпро зумовлене відкриттям ними Дніпрового торгового шляху із подальшим його продовженням по морю до Константинополя. Алано-булгарська концепція Русі дозволяє позбутися багатьох недоречностей, пов’язаних з досі домінуючою у багатьох українських істориків норманською концепцією Русі. Ця концепція пов’язує Русь з багатовіковою історією українського степу.

The problem of the formation of the state Rusʹ is one of the most difficult in the national historiography. The ancient interaction of the Slavs with the people of the steppes of the Northern Black Sea region suggests, that the mysterious Rusʹ tribe originated from there. The historical Rusʹ are a steppe union of Alans and Bulgars. Over time, Eastern Slavs began to gather around them. Alans and Bulgarians lived separately within the Saltovo-Mayak community. But the Dmitriv fortress already demonstrates a certain mixing of them, Penkiv culture of the Slavs was also found there. It seems that the Bulgarians adopted the practice of catacomb burials from the Alans. People of different ethnicities also lived in the settlements around the fortresses. This is how a tribal union first arose, and then the state of Rusʹ. Many immigrants (Slavs and Rusʹ) from the abandoned fortresses and settlements of Podonia came to the Seym and Desna valleys. Relations between Slavs and Rusʹ were based on mutual benefit. Slavs received access to free chernozems for farming and reliable protection from nomads. Archeology shows that this era was exceptionally peaceful for the Slavs of the Left Bank of the Dnieper, which led to a sharp increase in the population. The Rusʹ, on the other hand, gained a new sphere of political influence and sales markets for transit and own goods. And yet, the mutual assimilation of Slavs and Russians took place extremely slowly. The movement of the Rusʹ to the Dnieper was due to their opening of the Dnieper trade route, with its further continuation by sea to Constantinople. Maintenance of this route required a much higher degree of social organization than their trips to the middle Volga. At the time of the construction of this road, the linguistic assimilation of the Rusʹ and Slavs had not yet taken place, so two nomenclatures of the Dnieper rapids were formed – Rusʹ and Slavic. The Alano-Bulgarian concept of Rusʹ makes it possible to get rid of many inaccuracies associated with the Norman concept of Rusʹ, which is still dominant among many Ukrainian historians. This concept connects Rusʹ with the centuries-old history of the Ukrainian steppe.
