Типи абревіатур у науково-навчальних текстах з інформаційної безпеки та електронних комунікацій

Abstract

У статті досліджено словотвірний статус абревіації в науково-навчальних текстах з інформаційної безпеки та електронних комунікацій. Було проаналізовано погляди вітчизняних мовознавців на абревіацію та визначення структурних типів абревіатур. Було зазначено, що абревіація як спосіб творення слів має такі основні властивості: доступність, раціональність структури, лаконічність, економність, семантична місткість. Зауважено, що наявність численних наукових праць доводить суперечливий характер цього явища й вимагає постійної уваги. У статті досліджено типи абревіатур, знайдені в навчальних текстах з інформаційної безпеки та електронних комунікацій. Виявлено ініціальні абревіатури, які поділяються на буквені та звукові; комбіновані абревіатури; цифро-літерно-символьні найменування. Їх аналіз показав, що найбільш уживаними в науково-навчальних текстах з інформаційної безпеки та електронних комунікацій є ініціальні абревіатури як буквені, так і звукові. Меншою мірою використовуються комбіновані та цифро-літерно-символьні абревіатури. У роботі також приділено увагу особливостям функціонування абревіатур у науково-навчальних текстах з інформаційної безпеки та електронних комунікацій. Було зафіксовано наявність абревіатур у різних лексико-тематичних групах досліджуваної термінології. Аналіз розглянутих абревіатур дозволив виділити 9 тематичних груп, серед яких достатньо поширеними є найменування приладів і пристроїв та найменування понять зі словом «система». Зауважено, що за структурою абревіатури в науково-навчальних текстах з інформаційної безпеки та інформаційних технологій можна поділити на дво-, три- та чотирикомпонентні. Відзначено, що в досліджених скороченнях, які вживаються з метою економії місця та часу, відображені аспекти сучасної галузі інформаційної безпеки та електронних комунікацій.

The article focuses on the word-formation status of abbreviations in scientific and educational texts on information security and electronic communications. The views of Ukrainian linguists on the abbreviation and the definition of abbreviation structural were analysed. It is noted that an abbreviation as a way of formation words has the following main properties: accessibility, rationality of structure, conciseness, economy and semantic capacity. It is noted that numerous scientific works prove the controversial nature of this phenomenon and require constant attention. The article investigates the types of abbreviations used in educational texts on information security and electronic communications. The author identifies initial abbreviations, to be divided into letter and sound abbreviations; combined abbreviations; and numeric-letter- symbolic names. Their analysis has shown that in scientific and educational texts on information security and electronic communications the most commonly used initial abbreviations are both letter and sound ones. The combined and numeric-letter-symbolic abbreviations are less commonly used. The paper also pays attention to the peculiarities of the abbreviation functioning in scientific and educational texts on information security and electronic communications. In various lexical and thematic groups on the studied terminology the presence of abbreviations was observed. The review of the abbreviations examined made it possible to distinguish nine thematic groups, with names of devices and terms involving the word 'system' being notably frequent. It has been observed that abbreviations in scientific and educational texts related to information security and information technology fall into three structural categories: two-, three-, and four-component. It has also been observed that the analyzed abbreviations, used for space and time efficiency, reflect aspects of the modern field on information security and electronic communications.
