Проблеми підліткової ідентифікації та інтеґрації у романі Ф. Ґен «Завтра кайф»

Abstract

У статті на прикладі доль головного персонажа Дорії та жінок арабського походження, що стають своєрідною проєкцією майбутнього дівчини-підлітка, вивчені головні проблеми, з якими вона зіткнулася на шляху соціалізації та пошуку своєї ідентичності. Темою твору визначено життя дівчини-підлітка, що проходить процес самоідентифікації. Відзначено автобіографічний характер роману Ф. Ґен, що надає йому автентичності та правдивості. Акцентовано на моноцентричній оповідній структурі роману, що сприяє показу із середини проблем дівчини-підлітка. Вказано на стереотипне сприйняття французами «інших» із марґіналізованих передмість Парижу на прикладі Ясміни та Дорії. Визначене проблемне коло роману «Завтра кайф»: нижчовартість дочки у мусульманській сім’ї, проблема пів-сімейності через відсутність батька, тісні взаємини із матір’ю, вплив суспільної думки та мусульманських цінностей на долю жінки, проблема саморозвитку, пошук кохання, проблема вибору дівчиною свого майбутнього, відмінності європейської шкільної освіти та виховання, процес подолання самотності на шляху інтеґрації у французьке суспільство. Встановлено ефект багатоголосся, що через уведення у роман різних персонажів із передмістя дає змогу показати різні долі вихідців із країн Маґрибу у французькому передмісті, де панує безробіття, соціальна ізоляція та злиденність. Визначено мотиваційні атрибути Дорії – велосипед, зуби мудрості, сон про політ та атрибути соціальної та національної диференціації – пісочниця, ангел на стіні розмежування приміської зони. Відзначено також вплив мас-медіа, телебачення зокрема, на формування цінностей і поведінкових зразків для підлітків, стаючи засобом втечі від реальності у позірно безпроблемний світ. Ф. Ґен відзначає складність інтеґрації через відмінність культур, цінностей, політичних поглядів; показує боротьбу за виживання, депресивний стан підлітків, що веде до наркоторгівлі чи захоплення ісламізмом, проте роман набуває позитивного звучання через символічність назви: не нудьгуй, а кайфуй від життя вже завтра. Такий позитивний посил роману «Завтра кайф» Ф. Ґен розкритий на прикладі екзистенційного вибору головного персонажа Дорії.

In the article the main problems faced by the main character Doria on the way to socialization and the search for their identity have been examined. The destiny of the women of Arab descent, who become a kind of projection of the future of a teenage girl, have been studied. The life of a Мaghreb teenage girl going through the process of self-identification as the subject of F. Guène’s novel “Kiffe kiffe tomorrow” has been defined. The autobiographical nature of F. Guène’s novel has been noted, which gives it authenticity and truthfulness. The monocentric narrative structure of the novel, which contributes to the presentation of the problems of a teenage girl from the inside has been emphasized. The stereotypical perception of ‘others’ from marginalized suburbs, using the example of Yasmina and Doria by the French has been pointed out. The problematic circle of the novel “Kiffe kiffe tomorrow” has been defined: the inferiority of a daughter in a Muslim family, the problem of a half-family due to the absence of a father, close relationships with her mother, the demonstration of the influence of public opinion and Muslim values on the destiny of a woman, the problem of self-development, the search for love, the problem of a girl's choice of her future, differences in school education and upbringing, the process of overcoming loneliness on the way to integration into French society. The writer established the effect of polyphony, which, through the introduction of different characters from the suburbs, allowed us to show the different fates of people from the Maghreb in the French suburbs, where unemployment, social isolation and poverty prevail. Doria's motivational attributes: a bicycle, wisdom teeth, a dream about flying and attributes of social and national differentiation: a sandbox, an angel on the wall of the suburban zone have been identified. The influence of the mass media, and television in particular, on the formation of values and behavioral patterns for adolescents, becoming a means of escape from reality for them has been noted. F. Guène’s novel “Kiffe kiffe tomorrow” showed the difficulty of integration due to the difference in cultures, values, and political views as well as the struggle for survival, a state of depression that leads to drug trafficking or a fascination with Islamism, but still it acquires a positive meaning because of the symbolism of the title: don't be bored, but enjoy the life tomorrow.
