Естетичні домінанти «вічних образів» у драмах П. Корнеля та Феофана Прокоповича

Abstract

Стаття присвячена дослідженню естетичних домінант «вічних образів» у драмах П. Корнеля «Сід» та Феофана Прокоповича «Володимир». Підкреслено, що образи головних героїв мають такі прикмети, як ступінь узагальнення, провідну ідею та домінантні риси, покликані повчати і сучасників, і прийдешні покоління. Серед них вболівання за інтереси держави, розум, порядок, гармонія, краса вчинків, завдяки яким образи Сіда і князя Володимира вийшли за межі свого часу, ставши «вічними образами». Визначено, що твори українського та іспанського авторів ХVІІ і ХVІІІ століть об’єднує ідейний задум: змалювання величі діянь державних мужів на благо незалежності й процвітання рідної країни. Головні герої творів Корнеля і Прокоповича – позитивні персонажі, які втілюють національні ідеї. Орієнтуючись на античні традиції, П. Корнель та Феофан Прокопович дали героям такі імена, що визначили їхнє життя і вчинки. Долаючи застарілі закони честі, король Фердинанд у п’єсі Корнеля знаходить правильне рішення, яке спрямоване на розквіт держави. Присвятивши твір своєму сучасникові – гетьману Мазепі, Феофан Прокопович ставить за мету не тільки уславити мудрість і далекоглядність князя Володимира, який прийняв Християнство, але й повчати його на історичних аналогах і прикладах. Естетичні домінанти «вічних образів» у драмах П. Корнеля та Феофана Прокоповича здійснювали великий вплив не тільки на своїх сучасників, але й на формування ідеології Просвітництва. Задля цього автори використовували можливості класицистичної трагедії, та, виходячи за межі естетики напряму, торували нові шляхи в розвитку мистецтва літератури. Для цього обидва автори створили трагікомедії, що порушило принцип «чистоти» класицистичного жанру. Феофан Прокопович героєм твору обрав київського князя Володимира, Хрестителя Русі, який жив на початку Х століття, П. Корнель – національного героя Іспанії Х століття Сіда Кампеадора. Тільки формально обидва автори намагаються зберегти канони класицизму – єдність дії, часу і місця. Мова твору Корнеля величава, урочиста, насичена піднесеним пафосом, красою висловів, що стали «крилатими». Мова «Владимира» Феофана Прокоповича також урочиста і піднесена, проте, на відміну від французького автора, він дещо недооцінює силу естетичного впливу літературного твору.

The article is devoted to the study of aesthetic dominants of "eternal images" in P. Kornel’s "Sid" and Feofan Prokopovich’s "Vladimir" dramas. It is emphasized that the images of the main characters have such features as the degree of generalization, the leading idea and dominants, had used to have an aesthetic impact on contemporaries and future generations. Among them there is reason, order, harmony and the beauty of actions, therefore the images of Sid and Prince Volodymyr went beyond their time, becoming "eternal images." It was determined that the works of Ukrainian and Spanish authors of the 17th and 18th centuries are united by ideological idea: depicting the greatness of the actions of statesmen for the sake of the independence and prosperity of the native country. The main characters of the works of Kornel and Prokopovich are positive characters who provide national ideas. Focusing on ancient traditions, P. Kornel and Feofan Prokopovich gave the heroes such names that determined their lives and deeds. Overcoming outdated laws of honor, King Ferdinand finds the right solution in Cornel’s play, to increase the prosperity of the state. Feofan Prokopovich dedicated the drama to his contemporary- Hetman Mazepa, aims not only to glorify the wisdom and foresight of Prince Volodymyr, who accepted Christianity, but also to take a lesson using historical analogies and examples. The aesthetic dominants of "eternal images" in the dramas of P. Kornel and Feofan Prokopovich had a great influence on the formation of the moral qualities of contemporaries. For this reason, the authors used the possibilities of classical tragedy, and moving beyond the trace, paved new ways in the development of the art of literature. For this, both authors created tragicomedies, which ruined the principle of "purity" of the classical genre. Feofan Prokopovich chose Prince Volodymyr of Kyiv, the Baptist of Russia, who lived at the beginning of the 10th century, as the hero of the work, and P. Cornel chose Sid Campeador, the national hero of Spain of the 10th century. Only formally, both authors try to preserve the canons of classicism - the unity of action, time and place. The language of Kornel’s work is majestic, solemn, full of lofty pathos, the beauty of expressions that have become "catchphrases". The language of "Vladimir" by Feofan Prokopovich is also solemn and pathos, however, unlike the French author, he somewhat underestimates the power of the aesthetic impact of a literary work.
