Українські фемінітиви в будівельній промисловості: минуле, реалії та перспективи

Abstract

У статті описано та досліджено питання вживання фемінітивів в окремій професійній галузі, а саме в будівельній, на сьогоднішній момент та в минулому сторіччі. Вибір теми дослідження зумовлений інтересом суспільства до нововведень, ухвалених у новій редакції Українського правопису від 22 травня 2019 року і пов’язаних з питанням утворення та вживання фемінітивних форм – назв осіб жіночої статі за професією, видом діяльності, соціальним статусом. Об’єктом дослідження стали Абетковий покажчик назв професій з Довідника кваліфікаційних характеристик професій працівників (Випуск 64 «Будівельні, монтажні та ремонтно-будівельні роботи», Словник української мови в 11 тт. Академії наук УРСР за редакцією І.К. Білодіда, створюваний з 1970 р. по 1980 р., Великий орфографічний словник сучасної української мови. 150.000 (2008 р. видання), електронний Словник.ua та сучасні інтернет-сайти, тематично пов’язані з будівельною галуззю. Залучення матеріалів з інтернет-простору викликано тим, що саме ЗМІ на сьогодні найповніше відображають особливості гендерних відносин у певній мовно-культурній спільноті. Аналіз досліджуваного матеріалу зроблено переважно описовим методом, який реалізовано способами класифікації та лінгвістичного спостереження за назвами будівельних професій, зафіксованих в офіційно-діловому документі, та за формами фемінітивів на позначення цих професій, що відображені у вищезгаданому Словнику в 11 тт. як вживані в ХХ столітті, та сучасними формами, що побутують сьогодні в інтернет-просторі. Крім того, застосовувалися методи словотвірного та компонентного аналізу з метою вивчення семантики та дериваційних особливостей фемінітивів. Отримані результати спостережень та проведений аналіз зібраного матеріалу як за Абетковим покажчиком назв професій у будівельній галузі, так і за фактами реального вживання фемінітивів у минулому столітті і сьогодні підтвердили факт наявності в суспільстві тенденцій до змін: вагоме збільшення кількості створюваних фемінітивів, деяке розширення переліку формотворчих засобів порівняно з минулим сторіччям, зрушення у ставленні суспільства до фемінінних форм. Зібраний та опрацьований матеріал на прикладі будівельної галузі може бути використаний для створення загальної картини застосування сучасним суспільством фемінінних форм.

The article describes and investigates the issue of the use of feminine forms in a separate professional field, namely in construction, at the present time and in the past century. The choice of the research topic is due to the public interest in the innovations adopted in the new edition of the Ukrainian Spelling Code of May 22, 2019 and related to the issue of the formation and use of feminine forms – names of female persons by profession, type of activity, social status. The object of the study was the alphabetical index of professions from the Handbook of Qualification Characteristics of Workers’ Professions (Issue 64 «Construction, Installation and Repair and Construction Works», the Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language in 11 volumes of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, edited by I.K. Bilodid, created from 1970 to 1980, the Large Orthographic Dictionary of the Modern Ukrainian Language. 150,000 (2008 edition), the electronic Slovnyk.ua and modern Internet sites thematically related to the construction industry. The involvement of materials from the Internet space is due to the fact that it is the media that today most fully reflect the features of gender relations in a certain linguistic and cultural community. The analysis of the studied material was carried out mainly by a descriptive method, which was implemented by methods of classification and linguistic observation of the names of construction professions recorded in an official business document, and of the forms of feminines to denote these professions, which are reflected in the aforementioned Dictionary in 11 volumes. as used in the twentieth century, and modern forms that exist today in the Internet space. In addition, the methods of word-formation and component analysis were used to study the semantics and derivational features of feminines. The results of the observations and the analysis of the collected material, both according to the alphabetical index of professions in the construction industry and according to the facts of the actual use of feminine forms in the last century and today, confirmed the fact that there are trends in society for change: a significant increase in the number of created feminine forms, a slight expansion of the list of form-forming means compared to the last century, a shift in society’s attitude towards feminine forms. The collected and processed material using the example of the construction industry can be used to create a general picture of the use of feminine forms by modern society.
