Архетип «Світове Дерево» у романі В. Климчука «Рутенія»

Abstract

У статті досліджено архетип «Світове Дерево» у романі В. Климчука «Рутенія» (2011), де автор вибудовує систему вічних цінностей і світового порядку на основі давніх уявлень про світоустрій. Аналізуючи буття неодмінно звертаємося до попереднього досвіду, мудрості предків, наповнюємо сучасними сенсами, намагаємося осягнути вічне. Усвідомлення дійсності у давні часи транслювалося через її символічне відображення – потужну категорію культурного і духовного розвитку. Одним із найпоширеніших і універсальних символів світосприйняття та відображення світу є архетип «Світове Дерево» – праобраз, модель Всесвіту як макрокосм і людини як мікрокосм, які перебувають у діалектичній єдності, взаємозалежності. Навколо космічного стрижня закручується життя. Світове дерево – це вісь координат, де діють беззаперечні логічні Закони істини, буття. Так, по вертикалі виокремлюються три частини: долішня (світ підземелля), середня (земний світ), горішня (світ богів); по горизонталі – уявлення про часові відрізки (пори року: зима, весна, літо, осінь; доби – ранок, день, вечір, ніч) і просторові (південь, північ, схід, захід). У космогонічних міфах про створення світу закладена не лише історія появи Всесвіту, але й виокремлення індивідуальної свідомості людини зі сфери несвідомого. Такі уявлення людини визначають сенс і циклічність буття, роль у світотворенні етичних категорій добра і зла. Архетип «Світове Дерево» у романі В. Климчука «Рутенія» є міфологічним, наповненим загальнолюдськими наскрізно-потужними образно-символічними кодами. Концепт Світового Дерева у творі є відображенням міфологічної свідомості, показником наявності в українській етнокультурній традиції моделі світобудови та творення на цій основі сучасного сюжету про взаємодію Людини і Всесвіту навіть у контексті нинішніх подій російсько-української війни, хоча роман було написано набагато раніше.

The article explores the archetype “World Tree” in V. Klymchuk’s novel “Ruthenia” (2011), where the author builds a system of eternal values and world order based on ancient ideas about the world order. Analyzing existence, we inevitably turn to previous experience, the wisdom of our ancestors, fill it with modern meanings, and try to comprehend the eternal. In ancient times, the awareness of reality was transmitted through its symbolic reflection – a powerful category of cultural and spiritual development. One of the most common and universal symbols of world perception and reflection of the world is the archetype “World Tree”. The World Tree is a prototype, a model of the Universe as a macrocosm and man as a microcosm, which are in dialectical unity and interdependence. Life revolves around the cosmic core. The World Tree is an axis of coordinates where the undeniable logical Laws of truth and being operate. Thus, three parts are distinguished vertically: the lower (underworld), the middle (earthly world), the upper (world of the gods); horizontally – the idea of time periods (seasons: winter, spring, summer, autumn; days – morning, day, evening, night) and spatial (south, north, east, west). Cosmogonic myths about the creation of the world contain not only the history of the appearance of the Universe, but also the separation of the individual consciousness of man from the sphere of the unconscious. Such ideas of man determine the meaning and cyclicality of existence, the role of the ethical categories of good and evil in the creation of the world. The archetype “World Tree” in V. Klymchuk’s novel “Ruthenia” is mythological, filled with universal, all-powerful figurative and symbolic codes. The concept of the World Tree in the work is a reflection of mythological consciousness, an indicator of the presence in the Ukrainian ethnocultural tradition of a model of the universe and the creation on this basis of a modern plot about the interaction of Man and the Universe, even in the context of the current events of the Russian-Ukrainian war, although the novel was written much earlier.
