Українські трансформації у постмодерній перспективі

Abstract

The author considers the necessity of applying to the megatrends of postmodernism for analyzing peculiarities and results of social-political transformations in Ukraine. As a methodological approach for studying the democratic transition the author proposes to use paradigm “plying” which was created by Russian scholar S. Kravchenko. It allows to understand the reasons for widespreading “quasi” effect – quasi-market, quasi-parliament, quasi-parties on postsoviet territory and especially in Ukraine; because of it postcommunist societies have come into the situation of quasipostmodernity. There are such characteristics as non-transparency, irrationality, populism of leaders and populations dispositions to authoritarism and paternalism. Consequently, contemporary policy in Ukraine we may observe as imitative and simulacrum.
