Особливості функціонування політичної опозиції в регіонах України після виборів до рад 2006 р.

Abstract

The author aimed to expose the process of formalization of interaction in the triangle of opposition-majority-authority, to investigate institutionalized forms of the existence of the opposition in the regions of Ukraine, the mechanisms and reasons of its structuring. The political practice has witnessed the variety of functioning models of the political opposition in regions. An important institutionalized mechanism of the realisation of the alternative policy is the body of regional and local self-government. Entering them by means of formation of deputy groups and factions of oppositional associations creates possibility to defend interests of the community not represented in the authority. It’s proved that the processes of the formation of the political opposition are decisive Ukraine-wide though their regional can be somewhat changed because of the correlation between the political forces.
