Реалізація державної мовної політики в Закарпатській області

Abstract

Since the time of independence was proclaimed in Ukraine a problem of language has being widely discussed in society. This is because the regulatory basis, declared measures and phenomena do not comply with a real language situation in the country. One of the most multinational regions of Ukraine is Zakarpatska region, where a great number of people considered Hungarian, Romanian, Slovakian, Russian and other languages to be their native languages. On the territory of Zakarpatska region realization of state language policy should have two directions: securing the knowledge and use of the state Ukrainian language on all levels and developing the languages of national minorities. Declaration of state status of the Ukrainian language alone is not enough – there the mechanisms of realization of legislative acts and state support are needed.
