| Abstract: | The aim of the article is to introduce different approaches to the collective identity formation processes in FRG and GDR during 1945-1990 years. The article focuses on several aspects of socialist national identity process formation in GDR and capitalist national identity process formation in FRG. Among them are the following: territory, history, economy and politics as well as antifascism, communism, americanism and the outcomes of the double block system resistance during the Cold war period. |
