| Abstract: | Стаття присвячена проблемам фонетичної та графічної асиміляції англіцизмів в українській мові. Проводиться зіставний фонологічний аналіз двох англійських фонем та подаються варіанти їх передачі засобами української мови. The article is devoted to some essential problems of phonetical and graphical assimilation of English borrowings in Ukrainian. The English phonemes have different variants when transformed into Ukrainian graphemes. Comparative phonological analysis of some English phonemes and their possible Ukrainian substitutes is presented in the given article. Some general problems of phonetical and graphical assimilation of English borrowings in Ukrainian are also dealt with. |
