| Description: | The article is devoted to the concept and role of legal principles in the regulation of private international contractual obligations. It contains an analysis of the approaches of various scientists concerning the determination of the principles of international private law, civil law, lex mercatoria, performance of contractual obligations. Author emphasizes the importance of the legal principles for the regulation of private international contractual obligations.
