Популистские стратегии на постсоветском пространстве: белорусский контекст

Abstract

In a given article, based on the results of national sociological poll, the level of Belarussian people’s predisposition to populist politics, definition of forms, and content of populist strategies, which are used in the political process in Belarus, are studied. Firstly, the main parameters of populism are defined. Following that, it is defined how much they are represented in the mental structures of Belarussians. At that, the comparative analysis of peculiarities of Belarussian president’s and opposition leaders’ populist politics is conducted. Finally, there is made a conclusion that populist strategies are effective relative to the one third of Belarus’ population.
