| Description: | The investigations of Maramures history were connected to the intensification of scientific research undertaken by Hungarian historians of the second half of XX century. Regardless to diverse topics of the investigations, the following problems were in the focus of interest: settlement of the Volokh (Romanians) in the region, social and economic development, church and religious life.
