Зміст і функції текстів для читання у навчальних посібниках елективних курсів з іноземних мов: лінгвокультурологічний контекст

Abstract

У статті автори розглядають методологічні засади визначення змісту і функцій текстів для читання у навчальних посібниках елективних курсів з іноземних мов для учнів старшої школи. Свої погляди вони ґрунтують на домінувальних у сучасній шкільній іншомовній освіті компетентнісному, комунікативно-діяльнісному, особистісно орієнтованому і культурологічному підходах. In the article, the authors observe the methodological fundamentals for define the content and functions of the texts for reading in the elective courses in foreign languages for the high schoolchildren. The basis for their views are the competence-based, the communicative activity, the personality-oriented and the cultorological approaches that are dominating in the modern school education in foreign languages. The features and content to determine the function of the texts in textbooks of elective courses in foreign languages have been considered. The principles of selection and criteria of evaluation of semantic and functional quality have been described according to competence, communicative and active, learner-centered and cultural approaches to learning that dominate the modern school foreign language education. The authors have characterised the content and functions of the text of text-books on elective courses in foreign languages for high school pupils.
