Вивчення освітніх систем країн навчання іноземних студентів як фактор підвищення ефективності їх адаптації у ВНЗ України

Abstract

Стаття присвячена аналізу освітніх систем деяких африканських країн, з яких на навчання до України приїздять іноземні студенти. Проведено порівняльний аналіз системи середньої освіти нашої країни та системи шкільної освіти Камеруну. Виявлено особливості побудови освітніх систем країн Африки; на основі зіставлення з національною системою, визначено відмінності систем середньої освіти. Результати дослідження повинні допомогти викладачам підготовчих відділень вітчизняних ВНЗ спрямувати роботу на підвищення ефективності адаптації іноземних студентів до освітнього середовища обраного ними вузу. This article analyzes the educational systems of some African countries the foreign students come from to study in Ukraine. The text is focused on a comparative analysis of secondary education in our country and school system of Cameroon, which has developed under the influence of the British and French educational systems. The revealed features should help to prepare departments’ teachers of local universities to improve the efficiency of foreign students’ adaptation to educational environment of their chosen university. The research focus: to conduct a theoretical analysis of school education in the African region. The goals: 1) to analyze the condition of school training in Africa, 2) consider the structure of the school system as an example of African countries of Cameroon, 3) to compare the structure of the school system in Ukraine and the countries where foreign students were pre-trained. Object of study: education systems in Africa. Subject of study: the structure of secondary education in the countries of the African continent. The research methods: the study of materials and documents on the problems of evaluating the education quality, the structure of the existing educational system. The results: revealed features of educational systems in Africa; defined differences of schooling based on a comparison with the national system. The main conclusions and recommendations: The data show that the short time faculty training of foreign students will take place more effectively if teachers of preparatory department will have an idea about level of training that students receive at home on a particular subject, particularly in the disciplines of natural sciences and mathematics cycle. As the system develops international educational relations, it is definitely important to study the educational systems of foreign students, summarizing their experience and use it in practice, faculty training.
