| Abstract: | The article is dealt with the problem of simulacrum in the novel of prominent English postmodernist Jullian Barnes “England, England”. The problem of original and copy is the one taken under consideration. A person in the world of simulacrum is no longer an individual, but the actor, who plays definite role in the society. The novel shows how people act during their life trying to find out what kind of personality they are, but only some of them succeed in it. |
