Поняття "код" у термінологічному апараті літературознавчих методологій: операція styling У.Еко

Abstract

У. Еко у монографії ―Відсутня структура‖ чи не вперше у зарубіжній гумані- таристиці дає визначення ―коду‖, виділяє його різновиди, аналізує процеси кодифікації як функціональної складової семіозису, завдяки чому ―код‖ набуває ознак кросдисцип- лінарного терміну. За У. Еко код уявляється певною рамкою, сіткою, яку інтерпретатор ―накладає‖ на явище реальної чи інтралінгвістичної дійсності з метою здобуття інфор- мації, водночас, код завжди рухомий, непостійний, мінливий. Операція ―styling‖ (моделювання) повсякчасно відбувається на всіх рівнях світоглядної моделі нашого універсуму. Нагромадження і заміщення кодів – суть розвитку (чи де- градації) будь-якого суспільства чи соціальної групи від рівня повсякденного побуту масового споживача до філософських розмислів інтелектуальної еліти. Сприйняття, за- своєння та інтерпретація повідомлень завжди корелюється в залежності від кодів, за- стосованих суб‘єктом (адресатом) комунікації. Відповідно, за умови приналежності ін- терпретатора до тої чи іншої соціальної, професійної і т. д. групи, його віку, часу, в який він проживає, коди сприйняття будуть більш-менш тотожними.

In the monograph «The Missing Structure» U. Eco practically for the first time in foreign humanities gives the «code»definition, distinguishing its varieties andanalyzing the processes of codification as a functional component of the semiosis, owing to which«code»gets the sign of a cross-disciplinary term. Due toU. Eco, code appears in a certain frame, a grid, which interpreter imposes on a phenomenon of real or intralinguistic reality in order to obtain information.At the same time, code is always movable, non-constant, variable. «Styling» (modeling) operation is constantly taking place at all levels of the worldview model of our universe. Accumulation and substitution of codes are the essence of the development (or degradation) of any society or social group from the level of everyday life of mass consumer to the philosophical reflectionof intellectual elite. Perception, assimilation and interpretation of messages are always correlated, depending on codes used by the subject (addressee) of the communication. Accordingly, if the interpreter belongs to one or another social, professional, etc. group of his age, time, in which he lives, the codes of perception will be more or less identical.
