Когнітивно-комунікативний метод навчання іноземної мови у вищому навчальному закладі

Abstract

The interest to cognitive-communicative method of teaching foreign language gradually increases. Especially urgent in modern methodology is the problem of teaching of foreign language as means of communication. However, traditional methods of teaching don’t give positive results. Students on the initial stage of learning foreign languages have understated level of development of auditory differential feeling that violates perception of sound character of words. “Cognitive” (Latin cognition – knowledge, perception) is the approach that is connected with the program work “Cognitive Psychology” that was published by W. Nicer in 1967. The cognitive approach to teaching foreign vocabulary consists in defining the mechanisms that remake the information on the one hand and the ways of learning and keeping in mind new lexical vocabulary on the other hand.
