| Abstract: | В Ужгородському національному університеті проходить підготовка до святкування 400-ліття вищої освіти на Закарпатті і 70-ліття новітньої історії нашого вишу. Група з 9 студентів під керівництвом доктора медич- них наук, професора О.В. Фери зібрала важливі історичні матеріали про становлення кафедри. Висвітле- ний сучасний період – досягнення працівників кафедри та студентів, представлено інформацію про науко- ву тематику кафедри, найважливіші наукові роботи, монографії. | Description: | The article talks about the preparation to celebration of 400th anniversary of higher education in Zakarpattya and 70th anniversary of Social Medicine and Hygiene Department with Medicine History course at Uzhhorod National University. A team of nine students led by MD professor Fera O. collected important historical materials about the establishment of the department. The current situation of the department is documented –.achievements of the faculty and students as well as the state of facilities and technical resources at the department. Great attention is paid to the scientific research at the department. The most outstanding scientific papers and monographs have been noted.
