Проблеми використання інтернету під час навчання англійської мови ділового спілкування

Abstract

У цій статті розглянуто види Інтернет-ресурсів, що існують на даний час, вивчені потенційні проблеми, що виникають під час їх використання з метою навчання англійської мови ділового спілкування. Дано визначення ключових цілей процесу навчання англійської мови ділового спілкування. У сучасному світі метод комунікації між партнерами і колегами стає більше і більше важливим. Діловий англійський є необхідним засобом налагодження взаємин між фахівцями. Інтернет став ефективним помічником у досягненні стратегічної мети навчання іноземної мови, а саме у формуванні іншомовної комунікативної компетентності. Однак лише сама наявність доступу до інтернет-ресурсів не є гарантом швидкої та якісної мовної освіти. Нерідко робота студента з інтернет-ресурсами сприяла формуванню в них хибних стереотипів і узагальнень про культуру країни мови, що вивчається, а також перешкоджала розвитку професійно значущих мовних навичок і компетенцій. На сучасному етапі навчання іноземним мовам, коли використовуються новітні інтернет-технології, виникає гостра необхідність у ретельному розгляді проблем, що з’являються під час використання інтернет-ресурсів із метою навчання англійської мови ділового спілкування. Акцентовано увагу на тому, що саме використання глобальної мережі дозволяє, з одного боку, розширити межі освітнього простору, а з іншого – ввести студентів у реальні умови діяльності на англійській мові і активізувати їхню самостійну роботу. У ході роботи розглянуті точки зору дослідників на основні компоненти мережі Інтернет, критерії пошуку інформації, причини доцільності використання Всесвітньої мережі у викладанні іноземних мов. Ефективність використання цих ресурсів залежить від компетентного грамотного підбору матеріалу для надання його студентам в якості навчального контенту. За допомогою цих послуг студенти можуть не лише поліпшити свої розмовні навички, які розширять їхній професійний словник, але і мають постійну практику ділової комунікації. Практика використання представлених вище ресурсів всесвітньої мережі також показала, що їхнє застосування в ході навчання студентів ділової англійської мови дозволило значно оптимізувати освітній процес шляхом залучення інформації, отриманої з англомовних джерел, в їхній професійній діяльності. Зроблено висновок, що звернення до використання Інтернету під час навчання англійської мови ділового спілкування дозволило значно оптимізувати освітній процес.

In this article, existing types of Internet resources and potential problems arising from their use for the purpose of teaching Business English are studied. The definition of the key objectives of the process of teaching Business English is given. In the modern world, the method of communication between partners and colleagues is becoming increasingly important. Business English is becoming an indispensable tool for establishing relationships between specialists. The Internet has become an effective assistant in achieving the strategic goal of teaching a foreign language, namely in the formation of a foreign communicative competence. However, the only availability of access to Internet resources is not a guarantee of rapid and high-quality language education. It is not infrequent that student's work with Internet resources aimed to learn Business English was illiterately built, which in turn led to the formation of false stereotypes and generalizations about the culture of the country of the studied language, and also prevented the development of professionally significant language skills and competencies. At the present stage of teaching foreign languages, when the latest Internet technologies are used, there is an urgent need for careful consideration of the problems that arise when using Internet resources for the purpose of teaching Business English. The purpose of this article is to review existing types of Internet resources and explore potential problems arising from their use for the purpose of teaching Business English. Attention is focused on the fact that it is namely the use of the global network allows, on the one hand, to expand the boundaries of the educational space, and on the other – to introduce students to the real conditions of activity in English and to activate their independent work. In the course of the work, the researchers’ points of view on the main components of the Internet, the criteria for information search, the expediency reasons for the World Wide Web use in teaching foreign languages are examined. The effectiveness of using these resources depends on the competent material selection to be provided to students as learning content. With the help of these services, the learner can not only improve his conversational skills, expand his professional vocabulary, but also have a constant practice of business communication. However, the practice of using the abovementioned World Wide Web resources in teaching Business English to students helped to optimize the educational process significantly by attracting information from authentic English sources to their professional activities. It is concluded that the use of the Internet in teaching Business English has improved the educational process significantly.
