Морфолого-словотвірне перевнормування запозичених прикметників в усталених словосполученнях

Abstract

Анотація. Актуальність статті зумовлена потребою перегляду узвичаєного трактування словотвірної структури давно запозичених прикметників, установлення відповідності між чужомовними засобами й словотворчими засобами української мови задля досягнення оптимального співвідношення між національними і чужомовними словотворчими складниками. Мета дослідження – простежити основні закономірності в синхронному морфолого-словотвірному перевнор- муванні запозичених прикметників із гібридними суфіксами, що постали внаслідок поєднання чужомовних суфіксів і типового українського прикметникового суфікса -н-, оцінити нормативність і доцільність цих новітніх процесів. Дослідження виконано за допомогою методу спостереження та описового методу. Принагідно застосовано структурний метод (для аналізу морфемної структури прикметників) та метод функційного аналізу (для визначення функційних переваг різноструктурних прикметників). Новітні тенденції до переважного використання національних зразків у прикметниковому словотворенні, а осо- бливо в термінотворенні, витлумачено як синхронне морфолого-словотвірне перевнормування раніше запозичених прикметників латинського походження. Досліджено умови та закономірності синхронного морфолого-словотвірного перевнормування запозичених прикметників у контексті новітньої тенденції до переважного використання національ- них зразків прикметникового словотворення, що набуває поширення в сучасній українській мовній практиці, зокрема в науковому та публіцистичному дискурсах. Відзначено вибірковість заміни гібридних суфіксів питомими прикметниковими суфіксами, з’ясовано проблеми лексикографічного кодифікування перевнормованих прикметників передусім у новітніх тлумачних та орфографічних словниках української мови, наголошено на потребі послідовного перевнормування словотвірної структури однотип- них відносних прикметників. Abstract. The relevance of the article is due to the need to review the usual interpretation of the word-forming structure of long-borrowed adjectives, to demonstrate the correspondence between foreign and Ukrainian wordforming means in order to achieve the optimal correlation between national and foreign-language components. The purpose of this paper is to trace the basic regularities in the synchronous morphological and wordformation renormalization of borrowed adjectives with hybrid suffixes that have arisen as a result of a combination of foreign-language suffixes and the typical Ukrainian adjective suffix -n-, to evaluate the normativity and expediency of these newest processes. Methods. The investigation is grounded on the observation method and descriptive method, structural method (for the analysis of the structure of adjectives) and the method of functional analysis (to determine the functional advantages of the adjectives). The article proves the productivity of recent trends in the predominant use of national patterns in adjective word formation, and especially in term formation. This trends have been interpreted as synchronous morphological and word-forming renormalization of previously borrowed adjectives of Latin origin. The paper clarifies the conditions and regularities of the synchronous morphological and word-forming transformation of borrowed adjectives in the context of the newest tendency for the predominant use of national models of adjective wordformation, which is becoming widespread in modern Ukrainian language practice, in particular in scientific and journalistic discourses. The author states the selective replacement of the hybrid suffixes with specific adjectival suffixes, and describes the problems of lexicographic codification of the re-translated adjectives, first of all in the new explanatory and orthographic dictionaries of the Ukrainian language. The author emphasizes the need for consistent renormalization of the vocabulary.
