| Abstract: | Тhе article analyses the epidemiological peculiarities and risk factors of brain insults in а mountainous subregion of the Transcarpathian region (Zakarpattia). Arterial hypertension and cerebral atherosclerosis are the main risk factors. Тhе highest rate of brain insults occurred between the ages of 47-60, the incidence being more frequent in males than in females. |
