Abstract

Regional ІосаІ authorities together with sanitary аnd public health service departments have саrrіеd out significant work as to making healthier the children of Transcarpathia in summer of 2004, especially orphans, children deprived of parents ward­ship, children from large аnd poor families as well as those who were victims of the Chornobyl catastrophe. The Public Health Board of the region and the sanitary and Epidemiology Department have worked out а number of recom­mendations concerning medical service and state sanitary inspection of public health establishments, especially those located on rented cites, establishments of private property, health camps, etc. То check summer recreation and rest the Regional Sani­tary and Epidemiology Department collected detailed information and analyzed the situation weekly.
