Abstract

The direct consequence of the iodine shortage in an organizm are low parametres of the thyroid gland function. The data which were received on the physical state of students allow us to make an assumption about the inadequate normative requirement in physical education in higher educational institutions to all students independently on their level of health. Functional parametres of static health is а criterion of division into groups of general physical preparation in higher educational institutions.
