Специфика перевода французской публицистики

Abstract

Метою дослідження є проведення аналізу лексико-семантичних особливостей газетних матеріалів і способів їх адекватного перекладу з французької мови українською. Газетна стаття насамперед інформує читачів про насущні проблеми життя суспільства, вона також формує у читачів певну думку, політичні погляди і моральні смаки. У статті ще присутній експресивний складник, який може бути виражений стійкими виразами, фразеологізмами, жаргонізмами, кліше. У текстах статей експресивна сторона представлена порівняннями, гумором, сарказмом, суспільно-політичною і соціально-економічною термінологією. Переклад не повинен копіювати текст оригіналу, для адекватного вираження думки автора використовуються лексичні й синтаксичні трансформації, лексичне згортання або додавання (компенсація).

The paper deals with issues related to the peculiarities of translation of journalistic materials, in particular, newspaper articles. The aim of the study is to analyze the lexical-semantic features of newspaper materials and ways of faithful translation of them from French into Russian. The problem of faithful translation of journalistic articles from French into Russian is topical and insufficiently studied. Taking into account the fact that a newspaper article first of all informs readers about the actual problems of society, it also forms a certain opinion, political views and moral issues. To attract and stimulate the reader’s audience, the article also contains an expressive component that can be expressed in idioms, slang words, clichés. In the text of article, expressive beginning is presented in the form of comparisons, humor, sarcasm, often with social, political, economic terminology. Translation of an article from French into Russian involves painstaking work to identify the author’s style, which should not be at variance with the general style of the text, knowledge of culture and traditions of the country.
