| Abstract: | The present article deals with some linguistic and extra-linguistic aspects of the problem of bilingualism. Several definitions of this complicated phenomenon are presented, and numerous classifications of types of bilingualism are analysed. Common and distinctive features of bilingualism and multilingualism are also touched upon. Стаття присвячена лінгвістичним та екстралінгвістичним аспектам проблеми двомовності та багатомовності. Подано різні визначення цього поняття, а також наведені різні класифікації видів двомовності. |
