Політична участь як механізм легітимації влади в сучасній Україні

Abstract

The body of the article canvases currently Ukrainians’ political participation being transformed by elite’s influence, from authorities’ legitimating tools into legitimating technology. The latter proves the Ukrainian typical nature of traditional and rational model of legitimating, combining authoritative and democratic tendencies in politics evolution. In other words, such legitimating is not proved, however, to be initiated only by the Ukrainian politicians but its Ukrainian mentality as well, since the Ukrainian mainstream is approximately oriented on both democratic rule of people and powerful authoritative leader in the same way. Doubtless, Ukraine should avoid one-sided angle to authority legitimating, that is to develop authority legitimating totality, in particular its prerogatives should be legislature improvement, public administration activities’ enhancing, effective policy, based on national traditions, pursuing. Eventually, one should have a clear idea of political activities as authorities’ legitimating technology, recognizing its original significance as one of the principal authorities’ legitimating mechanisms both in political transformations and vital political system terms.
