Humanistic orientation of educational process in primary school of Great Britain

Abstract

Based on the analysis of the scientific literature, it is established that in the educational work with children of the primary schools its overall humanistic orientation is important. Humanistic dominants in education are represented by humanistic values, which form the theoretical and ideological basis of the process of education of children and determine the most essential features, principles, as well as specific forms and methods of work prevention and correction of deviant behavior of children. The main humanistic dominants in social-pedagogical work with children are identified and analyzed (accepting each child as he is; individual approach; trust and openness in the pedagogical interaction of the caregiver and the pupil; ensuring the right of children to organize their lives independently; health protection etc.).

На основі аналізу наукової літератури встановлено, що у навчально- виховній роботі з дітьми почат- кової школи Великої Британії важливе значення має її загальна гуманістична спрямованість. Гуманістичні домінанти у вихованні представлені гуманістичними ціннісними орієнтирами, що становлять теоретичну й ідеологічну основу процесу виховання дітей і визначають найбільш істотні риси, принципи, конкретні форми й методи роботи. Визначено і проаналізовано основні гуманістичні домінанти у соціально-педаго- гічній роботі з дітьми (прийняття кожної дитини такою, якою вона є; індивідуальний підхід; довіра і відк- ритість у педагогічній взаємодії вихователя і вихованця; забезпечення права дітям самостійно організову- вати своє життя; збереження здоров’я та ін).
